Welcome To Karen Potter The Estate Agent The first Licenced Estate Agent in Southport and one of the first in the UK Karen Potter is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents (FNAEA) and is marching towards her 30th year in the Industry. Karen grew up in Southport and after leaving school, went to College, then in 1982 to become Office Junior in the historical and highly respected Estate Agent, Hatch & Fielding. She left to work for another long-established Firm, H. H. & J. Robinson in Waterloo, Liverpool, returning to a long-established Southport Firm in 1987. The vast experience she gained from working, for what was very much, “Old School” standards of Chartered Surveyors provided her with valuable foundations upon which she has built her reputation. She broke new ground at the age of 21, when she became the first female Property Valuer in Southport. She worked tirelessly and eventually became, yet again, the first, and sole, female Partner in what was then, one of the largest and most successful groups in the North West. She was at the forefront of winning a highly coveted Chamber of Commerce Award for her work in “Business In The Community”; has organised successful Charity Events and was the first Lady Chairman, then re-elected, of the Southport and District Surveyors and Estate Agents Association from 1995. She is also Spokesperson for the North West, providing information on property in the region to the Bank of England’s Agency, and has done since 2002. She prides herself on her Estate Agency credentials, highlighting her local knowledge, contacts and experience. However, “exceeding expectations” is her professional identity, providing first-class attention to detail, personally overseeing every transaction, and ensuring that we do exactly what we say we’re going to do. |
